Thanks for stopping by jasonparchert.com! I'm really excited to have the site up and running and glad you took the time to check it out. First of all I want to say a BIG
THANKS to my friend and webmaster, Julie, who is doing all that you see here (Yes, this is being typed by me, Jason, even though Julie has the power to put in here anything she wants). I think she is doing an AWESOME job and I hope you will take a minute and visit each individual page. If a page doesn't come up right now it's coming soon, so come back often! Sign my guestbook and tell all your friends.
It's hard to believe a week of May has already passed! I guess time flies when you're playing music every single night. I had a good time this past Monday night at Guido's and still had time to stop by and see Chicken and Julie at Shoney's and get up to do a few there. They are there Sunday and Monday nights for those of you in town. Stop by any chance you get. I do! On nights I'm not playing I've been hanging out, playing for the folks downtown at the corner of Third and Broadway. That has been interesting to say the least. I've met quite a few people of all sorts down there- some of you may be reading this message. Check out my schedule to see where I'll be in the near future. If a date is not booked there's a good chance you'll find me downtown!
"His Way" continues to do well, hanging on at #86 in the Christian Country Charts! I got to sing that and another song from the cd last Sunday at Woodbine Baptist here in Nashville and hope to get back there to sing for them again soon! Coming up this summer I've got some more Sunday morning and evening shows I'll be letting you know about. So far I will for sure be in Illinois City and Witt, IL and Trinity UMC in MN. Look for those postings coming soon.
Other happenings I've got coming up are the Reynolds Fireman's Fest in June and a show at Borders in Brentwood in July. More on all that later. Until next time remember to take time to enjoy the simple things in life. Don't let the weight of the world get you down. When the load gets too heavy just lay it down at the foot of the Cross!
Hope to see you soon! God bless,
Jason
